Here's the Guide of how to use Maps Offline:

The First Thing you should know: Maps Offline still just copy around your saved Files to the files Maps.app uses. That are:

~Library/Caches/MapTiles/MapTiles.sqlitedb

~Library/Maps/Routes.plist

~Library/Maps/Bookmarks.plist

Your Saved Files should be posted here:

~Library/MapsOffline/ and then /Cache or /Routes or /Streets

Those Folder will be created at First Start Up of the App. ~Library stands for your Library Directory, so /private/var/mobile/Library(1.1.1 and 2) or /private/var/root/Library(1.1.3./4.)

Installation:

Maps Offline can be installed via BigBoss repo. This repo is part of the Community Sources. You can find Maps Offline under Utilities.

There are 2 Requirements for Maps Offline:

-JIggy Runtime, not Jiggy it self. Thats the integrated Development Environnement. ITs very easy to use, and if you consider starting programming for the iPhone, take a look at it. www.jiggyapp.com

- BSD Subsystem, for using the cp command.

Usage:

When you first start this App you will get this Screen.

I Think its self-explaing: On the top Right There is About Button. There you can get som basic Infos

The First Gruop let you Manage Your Files, its the same way in every Section. On The Top you can find an Textfield for Saving your current File. Under this you can find a whole List of you Files. With the Switcher you can choose what will happen when you tap on a file:

Under those you can find an Maps.app Launching Button and 2 Links.

Bug:

In 0.6 he says somtetimes that the file coulnt be copied. Thats not right everytime. Just compare filesizes, whther the file has been copied.
