 Then to Maps Offline:

For those who still cant download the Package, Big Boss answered me, that Installer cant o this. You probably have to download Cydia for downloading Maps Offline. 

I think i have to give up to port Maps Offline to 2.X, on App Store nor on Cyidia. Its just too difficult without an IDe like Jiggy. But there are some good Alternitives:

Offline Maps: an simple App using MapThis for Using Maps made on a PC. Just transfer your Map to your phone and start Offline Maps.

xGPS: xgps.xwaves.net

A Fully working navigation software system. This is Maps Offline how it should be. Wokring with iphone 3G GPS, iGPSD GPs and xGPS GPS. Downloading Maps Offline right to your phone, Works with iPod as well. Tested on my iPod 1G with iGPSD, works great. You should test this.

 At last:

My Web Hosting contract is over, i will move my content to an free web hoster, and move my domain to an cheap hoster. You will still find my Website under domain nambrot.com. Probably you will have to add another RSS Feed.

More ImPortant:

Hi Guys

 a lot of you, mailed me with the issue, that you get a Package Download Failed error when installing Maps Offline in Installer.

I really dont know where the problem is. There are still people downloading it right from Installer.

For you, who know to SSH i will upload Maps Offline.

Then you just have to unzip it and place the folder into Applications.

BSD Subsystem and Jiggy Runtime are still required

ich möchte nur die jenigen Besucher begrüßen, die über die Schülersprecherwahl gerne mehr erfahren möchten. Meistens bin ich online, also könnt ihr im Fenster links gerne mit mir chatten. Ansonsten finden sich ein paar Fotogallerien und paar infos über mich.

Habt ihr Vorschläge oder wollte einfach mal eure Meinung sagen.

HI Guys, Hi Leute

es ist mal Zeit für einen neuen Beitrag. Manche habe gemeint meine Seite scheint sich zu wenig zu aktualisieren. Außerdem wollt ich die Möglichkeit nutzen auch mal zu gucken, wie viele von euch meinen Blog abonniert haben... Außerdem will ich jetz auch offiziell sagen, dass das in Cydia aufkommende Offlinemaps nicht der Nachfolger von Maps Offline aus 1.1.4 ist. Ich arbeite momentan noch an einer Umsetzung für 2.0. Ich weiß das viele von euch gerne Maps Offline für 2.0 sehen wollen, aber solange JIggy nicht für 2.0 zu haben is, und ich überhaupt nicht mit der Toolchain klar komme.

Der einzige scheint mir der über den AppStore. ich hoffe dass sich da was machen lässt. Schließlich hab ich ja dafür das MacBook. Ich habe nun auch die grundlegenden Züge von Cocoa verstanden, kann aufgrund von Apple, aber nicht den bisherigen Weg über die Maps.app gehen. Was ICh versuchen werde ist, einen eigenen Viewer zu basteln, der die Karten von iPhone/iPod seber runterlädt. Dafür kann ich leider nur auf Openstreetmap zugreifen, da Googles Kartenmaterial für den Appstore tabu ist.

Was denkt ihr so darüber? Meldet euch. Jede Hilfe, Kommentar ist Willkommen.

It's time for a new posting. Some of You reported that my page is outdated. Probably you subscribed my blog? then tell me, i am happy for any response.

I Want to say that OfflineMaps which you can currently see in Cydia is not a Version of my Maps Offiine you know from 1.1.4. My port for 2.0 is still in work. I know that a lot of you want to see my App on 2.0, but until Jiggy hasnt been released for 2.0 i cannot port it. I also cant handle the toolchain,so the only way to do is the Appstore.  I think, i basicly understood Cocoa. As releasing in Appstore i have to renounce the Maps.app way and the Google map material. So i will try to build an own Viewer which will download maps from openstreetmap directly to the iphone.

What do you think of That? Report it. I am happy for every help, comment i can get.
